About Us

What an honor it would be to meet you.

A pregnant woman in a floral dress holds hands with a man in a tan coat and hat standing in a lush green field.

Shalom, Shalom, y'all.

First, thank you, truly, for taking the time to consider our family business—Prolific People™. My name is Daniel Snipes. Yes, like Wesley, just, whiter.

As devoted parents know, nothing motivates the heart like the weight of your child resting secure in your arms.

My wife, Hannah, and I partner with established, honorable brands who sense they’ve lost their way. We believe every brand, like every family, needs a Shepherd.

Yes sir, yes ma’am—yours included.

Daniel & Hannah

A couple embraces in a lush green field, the woman in a floral dress holding her baby bump while laughing joyfully.

No shame.  Just say it.

You need help.

Dang. Did that hurt you too?

It took me years to finally ask others to step in and carry the burden with me. To much of my surprise, as the Good-Lord knows, when we rely upon a Shepherd to lead us through 'that valley - "my-o-my, what a wonderful day"

As you might be able to tell, We love what we do.  I've learned thats it's a rare fruit for a man to savor in these times, 'what a time.'

Speaking 'of, We've been business owners since 2019. Partnered with over 125 brands nationally, so far; Word of mouth as our honest approach.

I grew up in the foothills of the Blue-Ridge Mountains in South Carolina. Made my livin' for years singin' and playin' the guitar.

Met my sweet Hannabelle at a church while on tour in Oregon. She was wearin' a Stetson with red lip stick on. 'Signed, sealed, delivered; I'm yours."

We got married in an old white church. Original pews and floors. No electricity. The first wedding in 75 years.  Walked down to Billie Holliday’s “All of me.”

Shortly after getting married, I hung my hat up on being an entertainer and surrendered straight into full-time ministry’ (as they say where I’m from). Over the next few years we learned how to lean upon one another through life’s testing – Malaria in Africa. Medical bills in Iowa. Homelessness in Oregon.

Bride and groom walk through sparkler tunnel with wedding guests at night outside white building.

The miracle

Then the miracle happened. My wife wasn’t “supposed” to have babies. For the prayin’ folk out there – know that her Mamma named her “Hannah;” that’s hebrew for Favor and Grace.

Our firstborn daughter, Miss Juniper Holiday was born on a sunny April mornin’ – early. Just in time for the Sun to peep in and say, “why, hello little thing.”

Now that we had a little bird of our own to take care of, it was time to step out on our own two feet. Business owners.  Great title till you’re worn slap out.

It wasn’t more than a short spring later that sneaky little fella, Covid, came out mad as hell at the world. First year of business. First child.  Just the three of us.

Well, Baruch Hashem (Thank G-d in Hebrew), we got by by the skin of our teeth.

Now, you tell me: what do you think would be the best way to get into a good groove of running your first business in a world pandemic?  Have another baby, you say? Move across the country?

Yes ma’am, you are correct.

TWO BIRDS

Our Penelope Isla blessed us with her company in the Fall. Sweet as can be.  Poor thing was born with a cleft lip. Beautiful as ever.  The Good Lord gave her the best cleft surgeon in the Southeast.  Patched her up in 12 minutes.  Her smile will make y’all blush.

Two birds to feed, learning the ropes.

Taxes. Saying I’m sorry, sweetie. More taxes. Buying furniture. Selling Furniture. Invoices. Publications. Workin’.

Somehow we had surpassed working with over 50 brands in just a few short years. Never paid for advertising.  Just tried to do caliber work that didn’t reflect how much a client paid. Always better. Always more.  I was finding my swing.

My childhood heroes were gentlemen.  Jackie Robinson. The first black man in the major leagues.  Babe Ruth. The Great Bambino.  Francis Sinatra.  Ol’ blue eyes, that dog. These were men of class, strength, poise. They did their thing. Well. Prolific people that we’re still talking about today.

Shepherd. counselor. friend

I’m getting into the nitty gritty because a major portion of my role in our family business is to be a Shepherd. A Counselor. A friend.

I don’t think nobody can get to know nobody unless we get to know somebody. You know?

I’m still a singer at heart.  You’ll see that.

Moving on, we moved about a dozen times all over the country. Experimenting with culture.  “What do we really offer as a brand?”

“Who do we serve the best?”

“Where can we raise our children?

Soul of appalachia

Speaking of, our third daughter, Valentine Darling, was born on a Cherokee Mountain in a Jewish Artist Community – our first homebirth.

Something to introduce, at this point, because it is the foundation of our family; our Faith.

We are what the Scriptures call, Gentiles; Goyim.  We have attached our loyalty to the Messianic Jewish faith of Israel.  Our family observes Shabbat. The appointed times. Eat Kosher. Hanukkah? Yep. Head thingy? Sacrifices? Ye…Nope.

We work with clients on many different spiritual levels and spectrums.

Just know, out the gate – I lead my business with Torah in one hand and a clickity-clackity apple mouse in the other.

Three birds to feed.  Our last stop, as a family, was to return to my home area.  One final go around.   A calling.  A 12 year dream had its fulfillment.

Then, an act of God.  An anomaly.

The eye of a hurricane passed over our house in the Blue Ridge Mountains.  A Hurricane. In the mountains.

Now I’m not trying to be ugly, but this lady, Helene – she got a face only a mother to love. It was a mess, y’all.  But the thing is – the Good Lord is close to the broken. The poor. The ugly.

Wouldn’t you believe it but because of that storm?  Our family gets a ticket to our Land of Promise.  The place we had always wanted to be since Hannah and I  were just dating. Western North Carolina.  The Soul of Appalachia.

My family, cramped up in a one bedroom apartment above a retro motel. Me – working at a desk beside a mini fridge and bed.

My face, beaming with joy.

Baruch Hashem – the Promised Land was under our feet in a little motel.

"...how did we even get here?"

Working with incredible, generous, and honorable clients we were shortly able to get back on our feet again.  Found a beautiful home.  It was tight, but it was home in the Land of Promise.

Oftentimes, HaShem will sprinkle on abundance in the most random times; just to draw us to Himself, a little more; like how we call out to our daughters, “come here, sweetie! We’ve got great news!  You’re going to be big sisters!”

Yes ma’am, yes ma’am.  Pregnant again.  With our first boy.

During the pregnancy we somehow managed to work with another 50 brands. Collaborating with dream clients. PF Flyers.  Georgia Boots. Holiday Inn.

“How did we even get here?” My wife would whisper while nursing one of our babies.

We were guided. By a Shepherd.

Every step. Every season. Hallelujah.

I caught our first son, Ellington Blue, in my lap at the front desk of the Hospital. Yea boy. Slippery as a fish. He was the most handsome little thing I had ever seen.

We came home to three starry eyed little ladies.

I’ll tell you what; my boy is loved like a boy should be loved. Lookout, ladies.

Currently, the place Prolific People calls home is Brevard, North Carolina.  We work out of the oldest building in town.  The offices of the railroad system back in the early part of the century.

My sweet Hannah is just down the road, homeschooling our four children.  Teaching them the Torah.  Raising ladies. Gentlemen.

I’m approaching 40 years old. Ten years of marriage. Four children. One hundred and twenty five clients later.  I’m just getting started.  Found my swing.  Lost it for a bit.  But from healing, rest, and Shabbat, I’m ready to step up to the plate.  For you.

Let’s build something Prolific.
